Leaving Korea for a few months — how do you usually handle your luggage?

I’m wondering how people usually handle this.

Many people leave Korea for a few months (visa issuance, travel, going back home for a while), but it feels like a waste to maintain accommodation to store their luggage.

Do most people leave their things to their friends? Or do you use your locker somewhere?

I’m wondering what everyone usually does in this situation.
